Das ist fast schon tragisch.
Anstatt einfach den ultimativen p2p-Marktplatz zu schaffen, an dem keiner vorbei kommt, wollen sie jetzt auch Aktien- und Krypto-Handel anbieten. Wer, bitteschön, hat denn nach der zigsten Möglichkeit gefragt, Aktien und Krypto handeln zu können?
Da ist ein totaler unternehmensstrategischer Absturz zu besichtigen. Hat der MBA wieder mal nichts gebracht.
Mag eine(r) mal zählen, wie viele Länder, Währungen und LOs man im Dashboard immer noch angezeigt bekommt, bei denen sich schon seit Jahren nichts mehr dreht. Ein echtes Trauerspiel  |
I think that P2P lending model is fading out due to stricter regulation/legislation and the institutional investors entering in the area with more strength.
Mintos is adopting a cross-selling strategy to diversify their source of income by introducing stocks and cryptos.
I think that Mintos* should bet more on bonds and ABS of bonds, as a real point of difference from the other brokers' competitors (creating their specialty niche).
Several Mintos* brokers' competitors have bonds (with a bit awkward UI Web platforms & apps), and Credit it's the Mintos* playground and a complement to their ABS of loans, and technically not too much demanding. |

I actually don't see bonds (nor ETF or stocks) as the way Mintos* should go.
Listed bonds, ETF and stocks can be traded much more liquid and cheaper with a broker. I assume most Mintos* investors already have at least one broker account (at least the German ones).

Interesting, but I doubt 5 million Euro would have posed an unsolvable challenge for Mintos* - therefore initital capital requirement can't be the main factor if they go for that.

The 5 million EUR minimum initial capital is for the traditional banks, the new amendments requires only 1 million EUR, and Mintos* got 2-3 millions EUR in the last share sale if I remember correctly.
That's why other players could follow suit to became "light" banks, especially the Latvian or Baltic companies, for example, Viainvest*, Twino*, or even the Loan Originators, like Eleving Group (ex-Mogo), Sun Finance Group, Delfin Group. Even the Estonian Iute Group, although it has a bank in Moldova and recently bought a bank in Ukraine, can became a Latvian bank, allowing it to be passport to all the other EU member states (allow it to offer banking services in all EU).
With only a 1 million EUR minimum, we can create a bank ourselves in Latvia, with an EU-reach. If we crowdfund the community or some of us provide 100k EUR (* 10 investors), or 10k EUR (* 100 investors). 
"P2P-Kredite Bank" could be the name for our bank. |
