Zitat: | EstateGuru attracts talent from corporate banks
In February, EstateGuru recruited two significant additions to its rapidly growing team – former head of retail credit risk at Coop Andres Luts will fill the position of Baltic Risk Manager and Mihkel Roosme, former head of division at Swedbank, is taking charge of the business development.
“EstateGuru will invest significant resources and effort into improving our risk management, debt procurement, and international expansion. Our latest two appointments share a connection in the sense that becoming a Pan-European company has been our approach since the beginning. We are confident that including additional high-caliber professionals will bring us closer to this expansion as well as keep our credit control at a high level both locally and internationally. The selection process was extensive, and we are glad to say that we were able to hire the best candidates” said COO Mihkel Stamm.
EstateGuru’s fresh Head of Business Development Mihkel Roosme is a former senior executive from Swedbank.
“We have tasked Mihkel with accelerating and driving EstateGuru’s international expansion alongside with strategic partnership building. Mihkel has a vast experience from working in a variety of managerial positions for more than 15 years - both in private and corporate banking segment. Mihkel’s role at Swedbank provided him with a unique skill set and industry insight that make him a vital member of the EstateGuru team,” Stamm added.
Baltic Risk Manager Andres Luts is a former Head of Retail Credit Risk at Coop Bank. “Andres will contribute to building EstateGuru’s risk technology, establishing scalable risk processes to be used on both local and international level and also act as a member of the credit committee,” said Stamm. According to Stamm, Andres Luts has an extensive experience in banking sector as well as a significant project management background, which has helped him to succeed in a growth-oriented business environment. That makes Luts a perfect fit for EstateGuru’s needs and ambitions.
EstateGuru is active in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania while initial loans have been formalized in Finland and Spain.
According to Stamm, EstateGuru is currently focusing its efforts on entering the Finnish market and establishing a local footprint.
"We have investigated the markets of Portugal, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. All legal preparations have been made to enter these markets, however current main focus is Finland. With such rapid expansion as ours, it is important to keep the focus on the quality of our product and we believe that our new appointments will contribute to this goal,” he concludes.
EstateGuru is Continental Europe’s leading cross-border peer-to-peer lending marketplace for short-term property-backed loans. In a few days, the company will be celebrating a milestone of having funded a total €100 million worth of business loans. An average return of 12.2% has earned its investors nearly €7 million in interest revenue. |

Klingt ja wunderbar. Genau die Märkte für die man in der Tat erhebliches Risikomanagement braucht. Im Moment müssen sie erstmal die lokalen Ausfälle in den Griff bekommen. _________________ Mein Blog rund um p2p Kredite

Zitat: | Dear investor,
EstateGuru team is proud to announce the recovery of a defaulted Kiviloo Manor refinancing loan. The loan was funded on 8th of May 2018 and placed into default on 5th of July 2019, after the borrower failed to fulfil their obligations.
The recovery occurred as a result of lengthy negotiations and the successful sales of the collateral property. The recovery resulted in a 12.07% return for all involved investors.
All invested funds along with the proceedings were placed on the investors' virtual accounts by the end of last week. |

EstateGuru increased its revenues in H1 by 65%
A strong start to the financial year helped EstateGuru to achieve significant year-on-year growth despite the economic downturn accompanying the global health crisis.
“While our loan amounts more than doubled during the first quarter this year, due to the COVID-crisis we witnessed a decline of 19% in loan amounts during the second quarter. Despite this temporary setback, we reacted quickly and saw an increase of 33% in loan amounts during June. So, all in all, loan volume growth compared to H1 2019 reached 29% and our revenues increased by 65% compared to H1 2019. We remain focused on cost-efficient growth and the stable quality of our credit portfolio”, says Marek Pärtel, Co-founder and CEO at EstateGuru.
One of the biggest highlights of the first half of 2020 was EstateGuru’s crowdfunding round on Seedrs* in May. The campaign exceeded its €350K funding target by threefold, gathering €1 013 000 from over 1000 people from 37 countries. The largest number of investors came from Germany, where EstateGuru has its biggest platform investor community as well. This funding round paves the way for EstateGuru’s ambitious expansion plans where Germany is number one on the list. The Seedrs* funds will be allocated to product development, expansion plans and institutional investors.
14 293 new investors joined EstateGuru during H1 2020 compared to 7927 during H1 2019. The biggest number of new investors came from Germany, with 2776. The next largest groups are Estonians, Lithuanians, Latvians, Italians, Spanish, Austrians and investors from 99 other countries. Our investors earned €4,3 M of interest during H1 2020 versus €2,7 M in H1 2019. 398 projects were financed in the amount of €43,9M during H1 2020 compared to 235 projects in the amount of €33,8M in H1 2019.

Zitat: | EstateGuru Ltd, September 29, 2020
The European leader in alternative financing arrives in Finland
EstateGuru, an international financial technology company and investment platform, starts operations in Finland in October 2020. Having grown into the largest operator in Europe, EstateGuru flexibly connects funding seekers and investors looking for a return on their capital. EstateGuru, with operations now in eight markets across Europe, launches its full service offering in Finland for the first time – thus expanding SME financing alternatives alongside conventional bank loans. For investors, EstateGuru offers a low-barrier entry into the world of real-estate investing.
Established in Estonia in 2013, EstateGuru has rapidly risen to a significant position in the international finance sector. Having enabled financing for business projects valued in hundreds of millions euros, the company is the largest operator in alternative financing in the Continental Europe. Due to the latest launch announcement, Finland becomes the 8th market area that include e.g. UK, Germany and Spain.
Compared to the traditional operators in the finance sector, EstateGuru works more flexibly to connect SMEs looking to fund their development and business projects and investors interested in property-backed loans.
„We’ve been actively talking to Finnish entrepreneurs since August 2019 and we’re confident that the Finnish market is ready for a modern operator such as EstateGuru. We wish to bring the benefits of alternative financing to a broader audience and offer a true alternative to the conventional loan market that may often be perceived as stiff and bureaucratic“, commented Matti Vansén, Country Head of Finland, EstateGuru.
In practice EstateGuru serves as an intermediary between the investors and the projects receiving funding. At EstateGuru, borrowers seek short-term property-backed loans in which the investors place their capital. The projects may vary and require financing for e.g. new constructions, real-estate renovations, business development projects or bridge loans.
The market diversifies as demand for financing and investing services increases
The popularity of alternative financing is evident in EstateGuru’s business figures which has provided a solid ground for market expansion. After being established, the company has enabled more than 240 million euros worth of loans in which the average sum for each borrower is just below 140.000 euros. The demand is increasing especially in a segment in which entrepreneurs seeking for an easy, but reliable and tailored funding solution are left outside the scope of conventional service providers.
Marek Pärtel, CEO and Co-Founder of EstateGuru, is confident that alternative financing is a growing global trend in which Finland can be one of the frontrunners. One of the central objectives is to secure sufficient financing for entrepreneurs in the ever-changing circumstances and in different market environments.
“EstateGuru’s objective is to become the largest real estate financing platform in Europe by 2025. We will do so by investing in service quality and transparency. We truly believe that alternative financing and the business model of EstateGuru is designed for the next wave of economic success“, added Marek Pärtel, Co-Founder and CEO of EstateGuru.
“Along with our market expansion, we always look forward to recruiting local experts, since we wish to share the local language together with authorities and our customers. Looking from Estonia, Finland is a natural expansion to us and a significant part of our international business development“, said Pärtel.
Alongside borrowers, EstateGuru serves private investors alike. By investing in property-backed loans, you may enter real-estate investing evenwith a small initial capital of 50 euros, which makes the category available to everyone. According to the Country Head in Finland, Matti Vansén, the investors are attracted by a historical return of 11,68 % which is excellent considering the overall risk level and the current market situtation.
“Launching our services in Finland opens up the opportunity to invest in one of the most sought-after investment classes – real-estate. We do also serve the bigger institutional investors, but at the same time we believe that real-estate investing belongs to everyone. For this demand, we may now offer an easier and more diverse solution“, said Vansén.

Die bisherigen Finnland-Darlehen waren jetzt nicht so meine Favoriten _________________ Coinlend.org - The world's leading Lending-Bot-Platform for Bitfinex, Poloniex, Liquid & Celsius - we help you to create a passive income!
